Missing 383

Looking for the 383 that came in my 70 rt challenger convertible if any one can help.

The engine was in the central Alberta area in the mid to late 90 for sale in a 68 69 or 70 b body. I was told the car was red not sure if true. The reason the owner took the engine out was because it had really high compression. My vin # js27nob214466. I was allso told the car was in Caroline Alberta. But I have not been able to prove that yet.

For any information it would be greatly appreciated

Have you tried to put an ad in a local newspaper, or maybe a car mag (if there is one) in your area? Sounds like a long shot but you never know! How many rag top verts thats a 70 R/T Challenger could there be, might get lucky advertising maybe get a lead if someone is around that had the car, or one of the ones mentioned who bought the engine from a guy with the car.. I wish you luck..
