Missing Trim Tag

Hey, guys I have a problem and hope maybe someone here has an answer. I bought a 1969 Super Bee from a guy awhile back and the fender tag is missing. Is there anyway to have another one made with out a build sheet? He told me originally that he had the tag and the build sheet but he is unable to find it. what is my options? any help would greatly be appreciated.

You really have no options to have a correct repo tag made.You need the buildsheet or window sticker.

I was afraid of that, I'm hoping maybe he will come across it, but more than likely it will probably never turn up.

I know he promised to give it to you when you bought the car,maybe offer him some cash if he finds it.That may keep him motivated to keep looking for it.
