Just got one from Summit, PN P5249807. Has anybody attempted to braze or mig a nipple on one for the valve cover breather?

The easiest way is to punch the hole, get or make the nipple with a flange, and put a couple bolts in- brazing or welding on the base is a bit much, as they are fairly thin material. Hope this helps.

Thanks man, dont know if Im gonna do it or not, was just curious if was feasable. I do like your idea, probably would not of thought of that myself.

I know I may be speaking our of my butt here since I've never tried it, but what about soldering a nipple on? Only need a propane torch for that and some good rosen core solder. Just an idea...

Thanks guys, I think Im gonna leave it alone, dont want it F----d up by my own hand.

As for brazing, mine was so thin I was worried it would distort
