Groovy. I wish we could "personalize" cars today like in the past. I sat down to order my 1st new car, a 78 Dodge Magnum, with the accessory book and designed it to my taste. No grey paint with black interiors, or other dull packages....
Since there are is a lot of Mopar knowledge here I am bringing this thread back to life for a reason. And the reason is...I have a mod top question concerning the interior. Were white vinyl seats with floral inserts a factory option?
I have seen a very nice 69 mod top satellite with both the V1Q top and the F2Q interior fender tag codes. It is a white car with a white interior and floral inserts. It has no broadcast sheet. All the mod top satellites that I have seen pics of have turquoise vinyl with the floral inserts.
With more research I have decided the satellite floral interior option were not available with white vinyl. It sure does look good though, although not factory.
As groovy and as far out as the Mod Top option is. If I had a car that had that option on the fender tag. I am not sure if I could put it back on thae car or not.
