Modern Bullitt build

Wow that is beautiful! Like I have said before, you do amazing work.

Did you make an area for a paint booth in your new shop?

Not yet but I have two additions in the works for this new shop. One will happen this summer. Along the side of the shop is a 46’ long carport that I will enclose 26’ of. This will give me a storage room approximately 25 x 9. This room all houses the air compressor. The next addition will be off the back and will be approximately 28 x 36. This will be the dirty work side of the shop where you can make a mess and not have the dust get into the mechanical side of the shop. And I will be able to set up the end of that new addition as my paint booth.
Thanks
Pat

Picked up a few things for the road trip this June;-)

Thanks

Pat

Just Read MCG and the pictures doesn't do it justice, great build Pat!
Thank You Javen! I have to agree that they were not the best pictures. And they got a few details incorrect like the front tire size and the rear brakes. That said I really appreciate what they wrote about the car and it was very cool seeing it on the pages of MCG. Thanks again and good luck with your build!

Shifter is different also.

2022 Hot Rod Power Tour was a blast! 8 days, 8 states, and over 2800 miles! The tour started in Memphis and we took two days to get there. From there it went to Nashville speedway, then down to Hoover Alabama, and on to Pensacola Florida and ended at the Atlanta motor speedway.

We stopped in some cool places along the way such as the pickers Nashville store along with their Columbia car dealership, Jack Daniels distillery, The Wellborn musclecar museum, and the Tuskegee airbase,

We had a few mechanical issues consisting of, a bad alternator, 2 hour fix. A leaky O ring fitting to the hidroboost, 1 1/2 hour fix. And The plastic gear for the speedometer broke at 2300 miles, I’ll fix that when I change all the fluids;-)

Kurt’s mustang fuel gauge stop working halfway through the tour and his power window switch stop working. All of which was fun and makes the trip that much more exciting! The best part is the cars went through the tour with no dents, scratches or nicks of any kind;-)

Driving across the country in old muscle cars is an absolute blast! We didn’t get arrested:), didn’t have an accident, nobody stole the cars and we had a Great time! The power tour started this journey, restoring these two cars. And it was great to complete this journey having both cars perform so well on the tour!Been about nine years since our last tour 2013 and I only hope is that not that long before our next one;-)

Thanks

Pat

Pat:

Awesome pictures and I'm sure you had a blast! Congratulations on driving these cars and enjoying them - as they were built to do!

I am driving my 1973 Road Runner (it pales in comparison to your car - it is a bit of a beater) across the country. We started May 2nd and we drove on a southerly route until we hit the Pacific. Then we turned East and are now driving East. Tomorrow we are doing the Ford museum. We have about 10,500 miles on the car so far, with about 1,500 left to go. If you want to check out the thread, go to:

You have two fantastic cars. Thanks for driving them and sharing them with people. I have no doubt they were a hit everywhere you went!

Thank You

Received a couple of cool poster of the cars on the power tour. One of the drivers looks mentally unstable;-)
