:angry1:Thanks for your welcome comments I will be adding some pics of my original 68 440 R/T. In the mean time a short description. Original cost, $3500. Current appraisal , $42,000. Original color code was listed as Charger Red which is now R 4 original black vinyl interior, with rally dash and consul original black vinyl top. Current driver, 2013 Charger R/T 5.7 Hemi auto. Hate 4 dr chargers but restyled body with hood and door scallops made a little difference in my thinking.

Can hardly wait to see your car, original owners must be extremely rare by now.

So, you're the one to ask: When you bought the car originally, what made you pick it? Had you considered any other new cars at the time or was that the one you had to have? :)

welcome to FBBO from NorCal

Actually,it was a random buy. I was currently a GM guy driving a 67 Pontiac at the time. Saw the Charger on show room floor. A short time later, I traded for the Charger and became a convert. Since then, have owned several Mopars.

Actually it was an impulse buy. Saw it on show run floor in May of 68. Two hrs later, traded my 67 Pontiac GTO and drove it home next day. My first Dodge and having been a GM guy, was an instant convert and have owned several others since then
