So this is the magic formula, all wrapped up in a simple package and ready to rock. The drive train is virtually bulletproof, the parts are all high quality, and the workmanship is nice. The stock motor was replaced with a 500 INCH implant therefor you have a very potent street fighter that isn’t ashamed to show up at the local cruise and pop the hood. This is another one of those cars that you just couldn’t duplicate for the asking price. Set up to run, fully sorted, and 100% reliable, this is a lot of fun in an affordable package. Price is $22500

I don't need the engine and driveline, but sure would like to make a clone of the 68 1/2 roadrunner I used to have. Right color, right interior, right trunk panel trim, etc....................MO

Anybody know the costs and requirements of shipping a vehicle to Canada? Asking on behalf of a friend interested in this car. Thanks.

Kevin, Where in Canada?? I just shipped my 69 RR, but I live enough to the border that I crossed and picked it up. Shipping companies can be difficult....

Calgary. I am just not sure about the paperwork and everything required.

I just got a shipping quote to have a Road Runner shipped from Canada to Illinois, approx 780 miles. It was from TFX International which is up in Ontario somewhere and they wanted around $2100 US to do it. They said that included everything and it would be shipped door to door on an enclosed carrier. If he's serious one call and they could give a quote. I could tell you all about the paperwork needed to take a car from Canada into the US but can't help much with the opposite.

2100 seems a bit high most auto transporter that carry multiple cars typically charge .65 to .85 per mile. I do know that you will have to use an agent to do all the paperwork to get your car across plus pay the import tax and fees. You know all that government crap and charges

nice looking 68 good luck with your sale :headbang:

Yeah it's a lot different once you cross the border, the fees really go up. And after finally just making the trip myself I do understand it somewhat, the border crossing was not fun and went on my all time worst experience list. I called about a dozen transporters and the best price I got for enclosed transport from the US border to here was about a $1 a mile unless I went with a broker which I've had shadey dealings with. This is a nice car, if I was getting it shipped id pay a little extra and go with someone we'll known/trustworthy.

I just got through the nightmare that was shipping my Super Bee from Chicago to Vancouver, BC. Ask A LOT of questions.
You want ONE driver, ONE trailer. My car showed up damaged (dropped it off at the body shop this morning) AND the company lost the car for three days!! The owner of a self storage facility in Bellingham Wash. called looking for the previous owner of the 'Bee...thankfully. At least I found out where the car was. Unfortunately for me, it was sitting outside. In a gravel parking lot. Then, of all things, they screwed up the brokerage paperwork. Another 72 hours at the border.

Stay far away from Livingston International. They will promise you the world until you pay them. Then you'll never hear from them again.
