Invalid casting number - possibly 2468130-8? -130 is a 383.

Maybe look on the other side for the casting date - should be right below the casting number.

Better yet, look at the pad under the distributor for the letter-code before "383": D=68, E=69, F=70, G=71; or VIN down by pan rail if '69 or newer.

In every reference chart I see for block casting that number doesn't exist. Like said prior to me recheck the number or take a picture of it and post it. Sometimes the embossing of the letters/numbers on the block got distorted. Post #5 has a good reference for you as well.

looks like E383 which is good because its in my 69 RR
yes it says HP

I'd suggest you check the VIN stamping on the block (and transmission on the passengers' side) and compare to the dash VIN - to determine if they are original to your car.

Edit: Add reference image lifted,cropped and scaled from Hamtramck Historical

vin rm23H9E164108
blk 9F61108
trans F164108

what does HP stand for?
HP = High Performance

Pics of those stamping would be helpful - they might be originals and poorly stamped
H =383
9 = 1969
E= Los Angeles factory
164108 = serial number

Trans seems to be a "match" missing the leading "9" (the model year) and "F" is actually "E"
Block seem too much commonality to not be a mis-transcribed original? (F/E again)

Additional note: Being your VIN is "early", I rescind June '69 engine build (end of production year) and change to June '68 engine build (beginning of production year)

There are other numbers stamped to check for further verification of car/engine/trans/body original mating.
