What oil pan is on that, looks like a nice deal ? A little far for me...

Unfortunately local pickup only leaves me out ☹.
Any better detail on the "phase three heads"??
TIA, Lefty71

Smaller than stock that's a new one

Can we see the spec sheet??
TIA

Impressive to say the least. 516s w/2.02s , dual plane and 575hp. Talk about a sleeper!

LOL, you think he meant "three angle valve job" ??
I always get a kick outta folks who put up a classified, and then go hide.....

are you talking stage III heads with larger valves ?
The guy I bought the engine from told me phase 3. I think it’s Clay Smith terminology. They are closed chamber 516 heads

Sorry for the late response I was in beautiful Blyth California for the last 3 days I don’t know what happened to the spec sheet pic. I tag it for download. let me check out what happened

Is this sold as running ? Or needs rebuild ? I see the specs but has it been sitting ? thanks

It came out of a running 71 RR and it has been sitting a long time on an engine stand; but I shot oil into the cylinders and would rotate the crank every so often to keep it loose. Personally I would tear it down and go through it. I’m trying to contact James to get an idea of how many miles he put on the engine before he pulled it. James supplied Clay Smith a 68 block and they told him to get some 516 heads then they did work.

2.02 valves.......
I’m not going to blame autocorrect. I just had a brain fade, they are 2.08 intake valves as far as I know. I’m not sure what Clay Smith did to the valves intake or exhaust. I’m trying to reach James the person who had the work done with some of these questions people are asking.
