Mopar .590 cam

Disclaimer;
I'm just spit-balling here, trying to help or ask pertinent questions
so others/knowledgable can chime in & help too,
Please don't take offence to my comments or questions...

What ignition & timing ?
Was that old cam installed advanced, straight up or retarded ?
{more initial ignition timing or an advanced camshaft can help down low (some), but
will generally hurt on the big end, but a retarded ignition timing or camshaft for your specific engine combo,
will wake up more on the big end/thru the traps, especially on a 1/8 mile pass
}

What RPM are you leaving the line at ? {on the trans-brake I assume @ 4200 rpm}

What rear shocks ?

What type of rear suspension ?

What size rear tires ?

How much front end travel ?
{your fenders vs the tires/suspension unloaded/travel, I see you said it lifts the tires 8"s}

Slicks {are they Bias or Radial} or running Drag Radials ?

What are you going thru the traps MPH/speed & RPM ?

sorry if it's a bit redundant...

Generally speaking;
Early tire spin or unloading the chassis after launch/spinning the tires
in the 1st 330ft, will "generally" show as higher MPH usually vs the ET #'s
the shocks, suspension or settings could have a bunch to do with it too...

Improve 60 ft times the ET will pick up a bit...
{Obviously, but significantly the 1st 330ft is the most important for real ET changes,
ET is the chassis/engine combo #'s working, basically MPH is HP
}

When the car leaves ?,
does the front end stay up & on the rear tires when pulling the front end
going out to near 60 ft {or past}, than settle down easily ?
{Do you have any video you can show us ?}
or does it drop down fast & unload the rear tires ?
Possibly ?
getting tire spin, hense a bad 60ft for that combo,
than using up/wasted all the bottom end torque,
basically making you run out of gear/engine capabilities on the top end ?
MAYBE ?

{5.13:1 is a ton of gear for a wedge engine, if only spinning 6500 RPM, leaving @ 4200 if you don't have a
30"+ 12"+ wide tire, even in the 1/8th mile if your tune/chassis/shocks etc. isn't right
}

Where does your camshaft card say it should make the most Peak Torque
& at what RPM range ?
It maybe just falling on it's face on the big end too,
but the 60 ft should be better !!

Anyway Good Luck, with your new build, happy Moparing

i don' know,thru the traps its at 6400 rpm, front end now has alum. strut rods and rod ends tires don't spin

36 degrees timing,msd 6al msd dist. goodyear slicks 8psi, front end drop fast,but no tire spin, 2 degree nose down pinon strange rear shocks adj. coil for 200 lbs. leave the line at 3800-4000 rpm,front shocks are CE 90-10 ,it pulls but like after 100 ft, a friend said it sounds like a two stoke in the first 200 ft.

I found the CE 90/10's to be too stiff on my car, I use the calvert 90/10's and Afco doubles on the rear, is the front binding at all ? as said you car should be running around 1.50 60 ft times, my old 3800#challenger ran 11.83 at 113 best and that would 60ft 1.59-62 with a 4200 converter. What are the rest of your increments ?
