Always a good show.
Loved it when at Ohlone also. Drove 5 hrs to get to it from Santa Maria, later on in life 3.5 hrs from Paradise.
Just a little too far now from Okie

One of the best locations to have a car show, and the weather was perfect.

A school parking lot??? Somehow I don't think so....

I think the best location for a car show is far away from the hustle & bustle of everyday life... Back in the eighties there was a show called "Power in the Pines" a large all Mopar show held at the Kirkwood ski resort.... Half of the fun was driving to and from the show with small groups taking off from the show just to drive around & enjoy the scenery & driving twisty mountain roads...

Not sure how many people are willing to drive so far now in 440s with gas prices as they are these days. Also, dodging modern traffic and electric cars doing 90+ mph for hours on end. I'll take an uncrowded school parking lot (with lots of shade) 5 minutes from my house any day.

If your car isn’t reliable enough to drive more than five minutes.....

I’m not a fan of the DeAnza campus. The solar panels do bring shade but that makes for crappy pictures. Asphalt isn’t my favorite either.

Dodging modern traffic is the biggest reason I tend to not come anywhere near the Bay Area if I can avoid it... And there's exactly Zero chance I'd live over there... We've still been taking drives with the cars, been up to Copperopolis, Pine Mountain Lake & Knights Ferry with a group of cars this year... Granted our three hundred mile trips are getting trimmed down to 100-150 mile trips but we still go.. Just avoid the Bay Area madness...
