Wow, wonder what really happened here. Was Mopar distraught over Elite's inability to make Fuel Injection work on a Pro Stocker or...

Was Elite fed up with trying to make a Mopar Power Plant work and wanted to get back to their CHEBBIE roots????

Mopar sezs they are funneling their funds to Don Schumacher's Top Fuel Operation, but one wonders if more funds will be available for Alan Johnson, Mopar's Top Pro Stock Man FOR YEARS.

No money=no racing. Fiat has no interest in spending $$$ in America....just sending it back to Italy.
They just killed the museum. Think they care about the history or legacy?.....uh....no. I believe they'll kill the Chrysler, Dodge, and other names. As always, Jeep is the only thing desired, besides the $$$ and assets.

I can't blame Mopar for this one,
I blame Ricky Jones/Elite MS & Miss Piggy's teammates,
you barely qualify, sometime barely get down the track
set-up is way off, hit the tire too hard,
that's the car or shock bars & clutch, not the engine,
especially when other teams are doing fine...

Maybe if they dedicated the same effort to the
Mopar program they had in the Championship run
with the GM stuff, it'd have been far better...

She broke her teeth in a Mopar P/S,
her dad was a Mopar guy too...
It's just spending the money from Mopar sponsorship
wasted on or maybe squandered over on
the GM teams side & their research development IMO
IMO the Elite guys didn't want to do the Mopar deal,
just wanted the $$$$, neglected the Mopars set-ups
they had the HP & MPH, the car set up was crap,
always an excuse thou
