mopar is junk now...

So tell me this Sleepar...are you prepared for the inevitability as you say will come about? What have you done to prepare yourself and family for that demise. Got Gold? Got Silver? Got Food put away? Got Lead and the means to use it? Got a bug out plan in place? Do you systematically keep adding to those resources because you can never have enough. My toy will go yes but that is just the point here isn't it. It is just a toy. Money is already spent on it that I will never get back anyway. Besides, everything is a "DIRT" anyway....
Yes I'm covered... the toy should be able to drive somewhere and be useful...
I notice a trend..... just before the crunch in the early 70s all these powerful and stylish cars were made.... now we have the same thing... it will be like 1929 all over again because we have been putting it off and haven't paid that debt off... plus in 29 we had a strong industrial strength... the people back then we're strong from the great depression and will be strong after its just sucks for them who could be ready that aren't..... imagine complete lawless like mad max.... I got my interceptor.... what would it take before you drove the wheels off your ride to get you where you need to go...

And before that, it was a "corporate company" based where? And before that, and before that....

You really have to think things through! All these companies want to do is make money. Why did the companies make new models? Simple... so consumers would buy them.... end result... company makes money! Chrysler doesn't care about the Hemi, Ford doesn't care about the Mustang,GM doesn't care about the Corvette, Camaro....All they ever cared about was selling something to someone and making money!!!!The New Chrysler, which is actually based in Italy, not Germany, BTW, doesn't give a rats *** about the Hellcat, just because some gearhead would think thats a nice car, They are building the Hellcat because they figure there are enough of us that will buy them so that they can make "MONEY"

Or to put it another way, car companies are not in the business of making cars. They are in the business of making money. This must be true with every company to a certain extent or they will all fail. I just don't think it's right to put money ahead of quality and reputation. It's a fine line for sure.

1970 mopar was good by 78 it was completely gone and and now it's really bad.... just get the old cores 're done and/ or take you're chances on new stuff..... it's disappointing but it is the way to keep people in New cars and good parts for reasonable price doesn't do that.... don't forget this is a corporate company based in Germany...

What the hell?
Cryptic and full of grammar mistakes, your post reads like the drunken rant of a sad old man.

Ever wonder why those old coddgers were so mean and nasty.... I know why...

Think I'm crazy now... wait another 40 years when all the good stuff is long gone and the latest thing is vortex 350 conversions and Chevy II front clips for mopar...

At the the end of the day everything is finite. Enjoy what we have and can have while it lasts. We're not going to take anything with us and as the evidence shows the new generations don't care about these toys as much as we do.

I prefer to think of carrying on in the biblical sense not holding onto what's never going to last in an earthly sense. Kick back and race hard - then what comes will come. Love the past but don't live in it........

Im going to go out and polish my tail pipes and hug my carbs.... Enough of that other stuff!
