Hey all- any thoughts, opinions on Mopar Muscle Magazine? I'm thinking about getting a subscription, but I wanted to hear the consensus before I start getting issues in the mail...
I honestly spend more time checking out the vendors ad's than the articles...$2.50 a month isn't all that bad consider they beat you with 4-5 bucks a clip when you grab one off the shelf.
It's a decent Mag, good MOPAR photos & some decent MOPAR articles, subscription is far cheaper than the news stand... All of my mag subscriptions have gone away now though...
I have been getting mopar muscle for about 10 years and still get it. They have changed there magazine for the worst in my opinion. I like classic cars and articles but they put a lot of how to and tech pages in there on modern cars/trucks. I think they are trying to please everyone and that is not possible. Stick to classics is the way I would like to see it. Just my opinion.
I had a sub but let it go a few months ago. I felt the writing was getting boring and almost seemed like the same old article just a different car. Since then I got a subscription to Muscle Car Review and I like the articles way better although they are not always about Mopars. They also have a nice tech section that actually shows how tos and gives you tips. I got my sub for $10 a year through a third party magazine subscription site but I can't remember the name.
Hey Pabster,
Funny thing: I just ended my subscription to Mopar Muscle.
I had 4 or 5 subscriptions.
Letting everything go except:
-Mopar Collectors Guide (best for current info and a wide range of classifieds)
-Muscle Car Review
-"Hemming's" Muscle Motors
Anyway, if you want a MOPAR magazine, I'd bet on "Mopar Collectors Guide"

I stopped the Mopar Muscle a few years ago. I always renew my Mopar Collectors Guide at Carlisle and get the free T shirt. Their website is updated monthly and has some decent FREE content. http://www.moparcollectorsguide.com/
Also like Mopar Action for the tech articles.
Check out this FREE online magazine, good articles and tech
Both Mopar muscle and Mopar action are by the same company....I per fer mopar action...They tend to have more on Chrysler history and true muscle cars...Mopar action spends too much time on B.S. new stuff..Just my opinion..I buy them when they have good articles...

Ive had Mopar Muscle for quite awhile, it runs out in July and i don't think im going to re sub, only because of the price of the subscription, I would like to try the Mopar action, see what that ones like. I do like MM its just getting pricey is all. I get a few subscriptions and have been quitting most, Hemmings Muscle Machines is a decent one also..
My subscription to Mopar Muscle is about to stop and I doubt that I'll renew for 30 bucks a year. Also pisses me off they do the engine challenges for the small, b, and rb engines only. Granted they do use different rules each year, but talk about beating a dead horse. Why they wont do a slant 6 or 3g hemi is beyond me.
I just got my last issue last month as I let it run out. I like Mopar muscle cars from the muscle car era and I like street/strip muscle cars. I dont care for all the tech on the newer stuff or 800 eng build articles a year. They do still have some good things in it but cash is tight for me so I let it run out. Ron
I can't even find it at the stores around Sonora any more, they do have Mopar Action still... Just as well I don't need any more throne material, I guess... I get 99% of my Mopar info on the web now anyway...
