Mopar Muscle Magazine?

yep

My biggest gripe with any of the mags lately is ...so we had "so and so" do it...

Instead of doing it themselves and showing us how.

If you think about it, it reads more like an ad for the services of whatever shop is doing the work for them, just in story format.
:iamwithstupid:

I got Mopar Muscle, It's pretty good so far, but hell I'm just a beginner haha

Mopar Muscle isint a bad magazine to me, It does have some good articles. Pretty pricey for 12 issues but cheaper then news stand prices..
I found a new one (to me) i like called Auto Restorer, So far i like it, if you like the restoring of cars you may like that, This latest one the main story is a 71 Charger Super Bee, theres a part one article on replacing a headliner, things like this, but it isint just Mopar...

If you're going to sub to a Mopar mag, the first choice by far , is Mopar Action.

IMO Mopar Action Editor Cliff Gromer a personal friend, great guy, as well as great tech articles. Mopar Muscle is so so and Mopar Collectors Guide has same old stuff every month however has an occasional nice article of a person's Mopar.

I just let my MM subscription lapse too! $30 is too much. Most of the articles were getting to be parts manufacturer sponsored. Hot Rod sent me an introductory for 3 years for $20! Now that was a deal!

I just got a renewal slip in the mail and for me to keep the subscription its 10 dollars more, 40 bucks now. I checked the cards out that they put in each issue, and it said for new subscribers get the first year for 30 bucks, im passing on the 40 ($39.97) myself... :)

I remember when that mag first came out. It was such a breath of fresh air from Hot Rod and Popular Hot Rodding, which every month seemed to be about something new to do with your Camaro or Mustang. :(

I quit subscribing when it seemed to fall into the same trap as the other mags, and put too much focus on E-bodies and early B-bodies, and that was it. It was like 71-74 never happened.

I always thought the best magazine for Mopar fans was a rag called Autobuff. I don't know if it's even still printed, but I bought it all the time in the 1990s. Yes, there were pics of girls with the cars, but that was the only mag at the time that I knew, every month, would have layouts of nice Mopars, including a lot of 73/74 Roadrunners and Satellites.

Well the no's have spoken!

I like Mopar Muscle and plan to continue to subscribe.

I also suscribe to Mopar Action and like it as well. Both magazines have ther +/-, but I learn something new and helpful or interesting from each of them each month that makes the couple bucks spent worth while.

I am really surprized on how many of you guys like Mopar Collectors Guide. Maybe MM and MA need to give away free t-shirts also to make their readers happy. I only pick up MCG if there is a article of interest (not very often). Buying one issue a year is all I need to have a copy of all the latest adds (of which makes up the majority of the magazine).

So this is why there are 3 Mopar mags out there. Different strokes for different folks.

Dont get me wrong as I like Mopar Muscle but I dont always like all the articles they do. As for Mopar Action I wish they were monthly as I like it to. And MCG is OK but I do wish they had more of car articles and not so much want adds as they are the same adds many months in a row. But I like all of them some as any Mopar mag I enjoy reading. I also get Hemmings Muscle Machines and Muscle Car Review as I love reading about all muscle cars but of course Mopars are my favorite. Ron

I've gotta go with Mopar Action mainly due to Rich Ehrenberg. He's a really knowledgable guy.

I buy both Action and Muscle every month. I have for 4 years. For some reason i've never subscribed to either. I guess i'm shoveling my money right out the door. Maybe i'll do that this week.

But both are great. Mopar Muscle has better images, but they seem to go more for customs. Since i'm not a big custom fan, i also prefer Mopar Action. But like i said, i get both every month.

Im with 383man, i sub. to Hemmings Muscle Machines and Muscle Car Review, cause i like to read about all muscle cars and both feature mopars every month. Hemmings is only $18.95 a year. thats for 12 issues. John
