Mopar performance air cleaner/hood clearance

[1968 Charger]

Mopar performance air cleaner has a filter 12-3/4 outside diameter and 2-5/8 high.
I just realized that the back of the air cleaner is rubbing the under hood pad.
Does anyone know where I might find a filter that is less than 2-5/8 high?

Any suggestions/sites would be appreciated.

It's the odd ball siE that will stop you though a 13 inch filter is possible from K&N.

Go to Summit Racing and get a K&N Filter for a Corvette. It is shallower than the one you have and will fit no problems. I had to do that on my 66 Ply Sat...cr8crshr/Tuck

It should have read "size."
