Mopar performance air cleaner - pricing?

I’m about to be bent over for one of these air cleaner elements. Lol.

I know they’re discontinued but still don't want to overpay for it. I haven’t followed these for some time now. Do they come available often and how much do they normally sell for? It’s new.

It took me ages to find an element that fit but I got one from Amazon. I can't remember the make but it wasn't too expensive. I'll find the receipt and let you know the details.

I measured the original one and went to Summit racing and searched. IIRC, it is 13 inches. I can double check if anyone wants s to know for sure. Summit did have several proper diameter filters but many many different height options.

I was doing my evening ( mopar) C list auto parts search for the Des Moines area.
There were some 69 b body stuff and one of those air cleaners same add ( new ) $100 on the air cleaner.

I only have one assembly in my stash (not for sale) but its element only says Made in Canada. It's orange like a Fram but has no part number.

Thanks everyone, yes the filter element itself is easy to find, wix makes one. Also if you’re using a higher intake like an rpm performer you can use the Wix 13” filter for a Mercedes, this buys you an extra 1/2” clearance for the air cleaner to the hood, which is needed fir 69 satellite/Belvedere anyway. Like the one pictured.

Initially I Was primarily wondering how much is too much for the whole assembly in new condition. Ie current market value. But it seems about $125 +/- 20-25 bucks is the norm. But the thread has gone onto a new but related and relevant direction so people might as well run with it! Cheers

I have some new lids if anyone is looking for one but doesn’t need the entire assembly.

Also, I have a complete assembly that I dropped a stack of crap on and it crushed the original baseplate and filter. I was able to get a drop baseplate from Summit racing and a replacement filter from my local parts store to have the complete assembly again. P2863349 was the original air filter number and I replaced it with the SA305. Brand unknown. They both measures exactly 12.75” x 2.75”.

Dumb question, but where does the air get sucked in from on these filters? Is the a gap between the side of the housing and the element? I really like the look and might ditch my Mopar Performance filter.

The top is probably 1.5" bigger than the element the base is the same size as the filter so there's a 3/4" gap all around the filter...

This is correct. The top is 14” and the base is ~13”
