Quick question do the rear leaf springs that mopar has for B body's fit the early 62-65 B body's?

What springs are you looking at?

There is nothing quick about that question. First thing to understand is that early B body cars had different spring lengths than later cars. You also need to understand that Dodge and Ply cars use different spring hangers. And then you should know that you can buy a large variety of spring hangers. So if you know what you are doing you can mix and match different hangers and springs to find combinations that work. I make a wide variety of front spring hangers so if know what you need you should be able to figure out how to put B body, E body or SS springs on an early B body car. http://arengineering.com/home-page/spring-hangers/

Ok thanks. I didn't think that it would be as easy and buying a direct bolt on. Thanks Andy

It is a bolt in if you buy the correct parts. You just have to be careful about taking some measurements before you order. There is a lot of confusion on early B body cars so you won't get much help from the big box stores.

Don't know if you've picked out your springs yet, but they are an easy change out, bolt in. The '62-63, are different from the '64-65, as they are the same dimension as A-Body cars, being shorter in length. The '64-65 are longer, and when using the MP Super Stock springs, require a different front hanger, to position the spring properly. If you obtain the correct springs, and hangers, it is a simple change over. I'm doing one of each, with SS springs, so looking forward to getting them in...

VANDAN, my 64 belvedere has the short 20.5 springs. Dave.

62-63 B bodies are a direct swap for Mopar Performance super stock springs.
64-65 need a 1" longer front hanger to mount the MP super stock spring.

That chart is nice. My 63 Sport Fury use the same lenth spring as my sons A-body Dart does. Ron
