This is a bit long, but here it goes. After owning this 1969 Charger RT 440 for the past 50 years I am ready to pull the trigger on refreshing the 440. It still runs great, burns oil as it always has and now has 110K miles. I am looking for a Mopar shop that does this kind of work in the Southwest (California, Nevada, Arizona or New Mexico) I live in Phoenix. I purchased it from my Dad in 1974 with 39K on the clock and who was the original purchaser/owner. He passed away recently and left me some money which I want to throw back into his Charger. The 440 is the original engine and all stock with exception of the heads which are late model 440 unleaded heads put on many many years ago and a Mopar electronic ignition. A pair of 906 heads I bought from a Hemmings ad many many years ago are in the garage. I also want the 727 to be gone through and get the AC going again. I prefer a Mopar shop that can do all these things as they may recommend other items along the way that should be done while in the shop. Major work was recently done on rebuilding the front end, rebuilt steering box and all new drum brakes, wheel cylinders and master cylinder. I am aware of "Restorations By Rob" here in Phoenix and am having trouble contacting him, not sure if his shop is still open, the phone number I find on the internet does not work. Restorations by Julius in Sothern California is on my radar as I have been to his shop a couple times and met him though Chrysler Performance West back in the early 80's. I think he does full on restorations only? Wondering if there are any other Mopar shops out there that I can talk to? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks for taking the time to read this long *** post. I want to find a really good shop that will do the job right so I can give it to my son in like new condition, like my Dad did for me. Tim

In 2010 I had my 383 stroked to 451. All machine work assembley and dyno was done by "Maurer Performance" He a machine shop not a restoration shop. He's in Phoenix and primaraly Mopar.
I just checked on the internet. Not sure he's still in business. Doesn't have a web site. If you like I can give you a list of services he performed for me. I can send you a PM.
I have 11,000 miles on the engine since rebuild. The only issue was the fuel pump push rod needed replacing @ 10,452 miles. My hour meter says 223.4 hours running.
