Looking forward to seeing y'all there!
It's been one of MY favorite shows for years, even before I bought my Roadrunner. The venue is hard to beat, especially for some true patriotic red, white, and blue God Bless America photo ops of Old School AMERICAN MADE DETROIT MUSCLE!

First time going to this, how's the vendors, swap meet side of it?
I don't have much comparative experience, so all I can say is that I found some rear quarter window and frame assemblies for my 70 Roadrunner. It looks like the ?potmetal? "post" that the pop out window latches to is integrated into the frame, and since both of mine are broken off, I guess replacing the whole frame is the only way.
Anyway, there are parts traders/sellers who bring trailers full of stuff, and I've seen some cool parts, but it is NOTHING like the Nats in Ohio. Vendor participation is almost zero, other than Mopar Collectors Guide magazine, subscriptions and the extremely cool clothes and stuff they sell exclusively.
The show is really nice, always has been, and the VENUE is one of the best, especially if you are moved by the military history of our country.
Here's a pretty good drone video from a few years ago:

I may bring my Weiand P3690982 6bbl intake since I'm going to use the Indy ModMan with Max Wedge ports. I can't imagine ever having a use for the Weiand since I have my BMP block and I want to run my N96 hood on my Roadrunner and at 541 cu in, having standard port heads just doesn't make sense.
If by some miracle I build a Superbird tribute car that my wife claims she would like to see get done and my Roadrunner has no bearing on that, in other words I can keep the Roadrunner, the Superbird isn't going to have a hood that would accommodate the Weiand and I would be running a ProCharged or Turbocharged Gen 3 Hemi anyway.

For those attending the event and would like to purchase any of our product line, please let me know by April 15th. Dave and Cheryl will be attending the show and can bring down limited quantities of the Dale's Cuda Shop product line, Top Catwhiskers and the products that we manufacture and offer. Product available for purchase at the show will be limited, so special request need to be submitted or we can always ship the product to you.

I'm enjoying an exceptionally beautiful day here in South Louisiana, and at a local annual car show at The Castine Center in Pelican Park in St. Tammany Parish. Great turnout. FULL TAG GTX rolled up a few minutes ago, and it's the real deal, a V-Code!

I knew when I saw the slot on the rear deck for the rear window defroster, and the driver's side rear speaker, and N96, and auto, and console, AND GTX that the fender tag was going to be full, and boy howdy it sure is!

God willing, I'll see y'all at the Battleship Alabama!

The forecast for Saturday morning is looking pretty grim...

I'm not driving my Roadrunner in an all morning monsoon. The forecast has been bad for a few days now for Saturday.

I’m with you. Very disappointed. If it ain’t Covid it’s the weather. Another bad show season so far!

Well, that's one of the reasons why I enjoyed the show a few Sundays ago.
It was on Sunday because the day before was crappy, rainy weather, and the people running the event were smart enough to have an alternate rain day.
So instead of none but the hard-core showing up in shitty weather on Saturday, hundreds showed up the next day and celebrated life, cars, friends, and a beautiful day! No rain day for the Battleship, what can I say?

And it’s on the grass to top it off! Lol I’d be stuck there for a week, tires spinning and mud flinging! Lol

Here's the latest forecast for Saturday in Mobile and it's not, and hasn't for days, gotten any better...

Yes, I have been there after rains, and it's pretty mushy...
The thing is, it is my favorite backdrop for a show, and one of the steadfast
:lowdown:sponsors, takes the picture of every vehicle with the
:usflag:Battleship Alabama:confederateflag: in the background, so it makes for a great picture! The B52 bomber, other military equipment, museum, even the cafe and souvenir shop are nice, and I'm sure in the "era of COVID-19" they could use the business.
Like I said, no alternate rain date means it's a gamble, and this year, the thunderstorms win.

Anybody know how the Battleship show turned out? Wish they would have had a rain day, Sunday was beautiful.
