Mopars at Lebanon Valley DragWay NY 10/13/24

As of right now the weather unfortunately does not look too good, the forecast is calling for rain…. But I plan to be there with my stepdad IF the weather holds out. My friend will also be there because he runs the SuperCar Shootout musclecar races.

I broke a roller lifter,,,,,I'm done for the season.

Someone from FABO informed us that there are 2 possible rain dates but the track won't call it until Sunday. Can you imagine driving up there and then they postpone it? No thanks. I'm staying home Sunday and hope it gets pushed off until the 20th.

Thats good to know… but won’t it be too little too late?! Shouldn’t they say somethin on Saturday night. Right now it still looks like a wash, both the weather channel and accuweather say that it will rain at 90%. I’m more than likely out and will also stay home.

Anybody going to Lebanon Valley this coming Sunday (weather permitting) have a used aftermarket LA roller rocker that they no longer need? I have a buddy into Studebaker's and he wants to mock up some sort of Frankenstein rocker setup to use on a stude. I believe he is looking for one with roller bearing and mainly interested in the rocker bore. If you have one with a bushing too, that would be great. Junk rockers OK. Thanks.

The weather will be nice!!
A little chilly at 56-60 degrees, BUT yes nice with no r word in the forecast. Cross our fingers it stays that way. Whose plannin on goin? We’re planning on it since the weather looks good, what car goes is TBD. HOPEFULLY the ‘69 Charger, but who knows. My friend will be there as he runs the SuperCar Shootout Musclecar Races. @8formulas, @hemi*guy, @HEMI-ITIS, @VANDAN, @3white74, @Pops1967GTX, @Ron_M, @Moms68 ,@davescuda, @The Rebel, @rich hourigan, @Fran Blacker, @ct71rr, @JoePole. I'd really like to make that, it looks to be a Great event. The 5 hour ride each way is tough, with the shorter days, and the deer have started moving quite a bit now at dusk. This one will probably go on the bucket list for me, but Thanks for the update !!!

If I can talk a buddy into it, I’m seriously thinking about going. It’s about a 2 1/2 hour drive for me.
