I recognized the State Police car at the top of post #13. I,uh,saw a couple of those in my younger days. In my rear-view mirror. On the side of the road. Sometime saw the nice(?) interior. Not exactly "Corinthian Leather".
Hey 72 Blue;a lot of the Detroit-based MSP cars got "tweaked" by some well-known(but to remain unnamed) Chrysler racers. Engines, trannies, rear axles and suspensions all got "improved"-especially the two-door Pursuit cars. A long-time friend of mine has a 1970 two-door Fury that is a former MSP chase car. I can verify that it will see 150-and was as stable as a new Chally at that speed.
