Mopars In Motion - 5/22 & 5/23

Well a good f#@ken day. My lazy *** waits to the last minute to get ready. H-pipe still leaks, can live with that. Yesterday was going to make a run for gas and a short drive. Went to start car and flooded the **** out of it. Put fresh accelerator plungers in this winter. Pumped the gas a few times hit the key and it farted a couple of times. Hit the key and pumped it thinking needed more gas, nope. Left it there put air in the tires earlier so leave it for today.
Got it running but sounded lousy, h-pipe leak I thought. Pulled out made a turn to go down driveway and car didn't feel right or accelerate well. Sounded crappy and I when the turn tire broke the bead and was flat. Schrader valve must've leaked. So I'm staying home, can't walk far enough as a spectator, my ankle won't take the punishment.

Damn Fran that sucks, sorry you can't make it. Hope you get the car to act right so you can make it next year

Overall I was extremely disappointed with the turn out. Someone said they counted about 50 cars, not including all the modern ones. I looked forward all year to this and due to the lack of turn out it really sucked. I was told that Sunday has always been the bigger turn out, not sure why. So now I know if I go in the future it will be always on Sunday.

The weather was hot but at least it got cloudy and a breeze picked up. Tomorrow is gonna be worse almost 90, way to early for that.

Thanks for the pictures Roger, I will post mine up tomorrow. I saw from the Facebook page that there were 80-85 cars today. Maybe come tomorrow too huh?
