Mopars in the park-6/2/12--6/3/12 farmington, mn

Yes it would have been good to shoot the bull for awhile! I had my Charger over in the "display" only area.

Never did make it over to that side until after the rain. We sat in the car and waited out the rain, then rumbled around the fairgrounds a couple times and headed for home.
Next year I'll be in the display only area.

Went up on sunday. To be honest I was alittle disappointed with how little cars I saw there. Don't know if everyone was worrying about the weather or just left early sunday before I got there. The cars I did see were top notch. The burnout contest was pretty good. Saw 1 guy in a little red express blow his tires up in smoke and another guy blew his motor up in a little dodge Dakota. When he got done, his tires were shredded and his motor was dripping oil like a waterfall. My 17 YO daughter had fun though. It reminded her of when she and I went to the Carlisle show when she was ten.

We were there all weekend. My buddy with the 64 Savoy won Mopar's Top Eliminator award. The car is now going to Detroit to be in Chrysler's display during the Woodward cruise.

Another buddy took Don Grotheer for a test run in his LO23 hemi dart.
