Thought I'd start this as I was thinking back about some of my cars.
#1 was a 70 340 4 speed Duster. I sold it to my next door neighbor. His brother got drunk and totaled it into a light pole.
#2 was a 63 Fury that after selling it the new owner's garage caught on fire both were a total loss.
#3 A 70 Dart. The new owner ran it off the road into a culvert tearing out the complete front suspension along with one frame rail.
#4 was a 75 Charger that I sold to a fellow worker's son.He was a heavy drinker and smashed it up several times. The last was the best as he couldn't remember where the car was. He never did find it.
#5 was a 87 Dodge Lancer Shelby.I sold it to my nephew. He lent it to his sister who with 4 other girls rolled it several times. She said she was changing a cassette tape when she ran off the road.
That's the ones I remember. Most cars I've sold I never heard or seen ever again.Who knows, maybe they died violently, though I hope not.

All of mine either rusted out, or I drove them till the wheels fell off then junked them. Not really a violent demise unless it wound up in the crusher in the end.

not a mopar but the only "real accident " the I have had(holden) . walked away but car was a right off, "head on" you can see how far one tyre is off. I couldn't get out of the car , had to climb over to the other side to get out . approx. 3 hours away at the time
not the best photo but its all I have

Yikes. Why did you have to climb out the other side?? Driver's door looks perfectly fine! :poke:

71 satellite 2 door, done up as rr clone.
absolutely beautiful white with blue interior.
was driving around our quarry with a friend following, and as i went around a curve,
the rain had somehow cut a Deep trench across the road and my front tires hit that and i went Left.
into 2 trees,at slow speed but speed nonetheless.
that sudden stop is what gets you..deffo the most violent

the front bumper wrapped around the 2 trees and tacoed everything in the engine bay.
estiimated speed maybe 25 prolly not but i ate the windshield and the rearview,
my knee went into the dash so hard it bent the radio in a u,
and the steering column dropped right into my chest.

that one about killed me.
concussion, broken ribs and collarbone and worst part was instead of fixing it,i junked it.

Grand Cherokee had the driver's side quarter panel taken out (total loss per insurance) by a forklift that backed out of a driveway into the street.

Not a Mopar, but the only Chevy I ever did any rebuilding on. Had it for a few years. Very nice 62 Impala. White, red interior and rally wheels. I rebuilt the 327 and it was a sweet and good running ride. Made the mistake of letting it go, and the idiot that bought it tore it up and totaled it within 6 months.

I had a 76 Power Wagon (1982-ish ?)
just got done doing a refresh on the
engine & trans/transfer case, lift, new tires & wheels etc....
I was going to work, driving down
the 680 frwy between Concord & Lafayette curve
towards the tunnel west bound...
Some guy spun out ahead & I had to lock up the brakes...
Barely stopped in time, but unfortunately;
2 guys in 2, 1 ton MMM Carpet vans, full of rolls of carpeting
were racing each other to the job...
They didn't see the traffic had stopped in time...
They slid from a 50-60mph to a dead stop, into my truck
sandwiched me & spun me around, hit several other cars
before it stopped & crushed my PW in-between them...
Scattered all my tools that were in my tool boxes all over the place...
It really mess up my truck, bent the frame, buckled the hood
bent the bed...

I was wearing a seat belt/shoulder-strap, I do religiously
it stretched just far enough for me to hit the top of my head
on the windshield, bent the steering wheel & then
I fell back & I blew out the rear slider, with my back of my head...
I got a small hairline fracture in my left arm
my Dog (100# lab) 'Duke' got wedged under the dash
he got a few cuts & scrapes too...
I was wearing hi-top tennis shoes, they were laced up
I got hit so damn hard, my shoes where torn off & across the
4 lane freeway, on the other side of the road...

I was the only rig that drove away,
it was messed up but I drove it home...
I wanted to keep my front, rear axles, rims & tires
& drivetrain stuff...

I got $10k (IIRC) for the truck, it was obviously totaled
they even bocked at that price/value, but I had receipts
for all the stuff I had just finished...
I got screwed still...
I have back issues still (not bad now) from a compressed discs
they paid like $12k in medical org.
I have lifetime coverage for anything dealing with the injury...
5 of the 6 cars/trucks/vans involved were all insured by
State Farm, we all got fucked somewhat, lessor settlements...

74 Charger in my icon. When I was about 20. A guy was down here on vacation got drunk ran his truck into the van behind me at about 70mph at a stop light. The people in the van were messed up. The back end of the charger looked like an accordion from the van hitting me but I was ok.

99 Dakota R/T. Got wonky doing a burnout spun and hit an Escalade. That was dumb, some guy bought it and fixed it though. Miss that truck

I had a 69 roadrunner stolen once, they found it a couple days later stripped of motor, transmission, wheels/tires, rearend, seats and well you get the idea. They sent a wrecker that had an attachment that looked like a gigantic jaws of life. It picked up the car (severely damaging the body) putting it on a flatbed wrecker. When I saw it at the wrecking yard I couldn’t believe how badly damaged it was. Made me sick.

Jeez, you're like the Grim Reaper of cars!

Would take soooo long to go through all the stories. Short version : '68 Barracuda, rolled on expressway. '67 GTX, jumped over a crick. '65 Barracuda, flipped on side on expressway. '73 Dart, ran into parked car (girl involved). '63 Valiant wagon, destroyed chasing down some guy (caught him). Those are the Mopars I remember.

Goodnight you too! You guys are killing me! Im 37 so I dont have old mopar stories. My old man's best buddy bought a 71GTX and drove it all season till it rusted to death. Said he never washed it. My old man is a oldschool Ford guy so I think he tries to push my buttons

70 Coronet 500 , cut it up with a skill saw and put the pieces in a few dumpsters. couple of friends took bats to my 69 Coronet wagon after I parted it out then it went to the crusher. 73 charger got shot up with a .38 after my ex stole the title . never crashed one tho
