Hi mopar lovers
Recently purchased a 1970 Satellite Convertible and a motor home 440 to go into it
Any advice on engine mods, where to get good engine mounts for a stock K member, etc?
Thx
Mark

Cam and lifters are a start.. Thats a low compression 440 and the pistons will be well below deck height. There are a few cams that will help with that. One of which is a Summit K6401 camshaft kit from Summit. There are other alternatives out there I think Hughes Performance offers a camshaft as well.

I'd go with new pistons to give higher compression.
Keith Black KB237 pistons give a compression increase for street motor. They're hypereutectic, which also helps on the street.
It the block is low mileage and you're trying to save $, you could hone out any ring ridge at top of cylinders and go with stock bore pistons.

I have a cast crank 76 440 in my 63. The PO had installed the very heavy speedpro 6 pack pistons I left them and installed a set of 440 source CNC Stealth heads, Isky 292 mega cam,RPM intake, Holley 750 double pumper, and Doug’s D452 headers. 3k converter and 373 gears. I’m very pleased with the end result.
