We have Tail Light Tuesday, Wheel Wednesday, and Front End Friday. What about Motor Monday? My engines are pretty well stock, but I know that a lot of you guys have some high-horse motors you must be proud of. Let's see some pictures! My proposal is that we show all kinds of Mopar Motors, but also unusual or exotic engines as well. Let's celebrate ICE ( Internal Combustion Engine ) as long as we are allowed to have them. This would include airplane, boat Diesel, etc. An identification or description would be nice. Is this too general; what are your thoughts?

I will start this off with engine shots from a car I used to own. This engine is a 426 Street wedge, with a 1962 Chrysler 300H intake and Carter AFB's. The "football" air cleaners were fiberglass repops. I used "452" heads and the camshaft was the Mopar Performance 440 Magnum piece. This is my Go-To cam for my street builds; good power and a nice rumble/lope through the exhaust.

Sure, sounds cool to me. Here is my Hemi in my Challenger, my 440 Six pack in my Charger, 383 in my Roached Runner and another Keith Black Hemi, 440 EFI and 383 ready for their next builds and 440 in my NewYorker.

Cal customs are my favorite valve cover. Here’s the 440 in my 68 GTX. Built the car to have a 70s day 2 look.

440 dressed up as '64 Street Wedge in my Polara hardtop. It has "452" heads, unknown forged pistons, Edelbrock aluminum intake with Edelbrock 750cfm. carb, and Mopar Performance repro Magnum camshaft. I bought this engine as a low mileage rebuilt piece with a TorqueFlight on it for $1000.00 about 25 years ago. I changed the oil pan on it, and this is when I noticed the forged pistons and that the rotating assembly had been balanced. Big blocks were painted red in Canada in 1964, so that is what I did. Biggest motor available in Canada in 1964 was 383, 4-barrel.
