Mounting Throttle Cable

Trying to figure out of my throttle cable is in correctly, just kinda sits in there behind the firewall and the flange can move around freely...it seems like there should be some sort of clip holding it in on the interior?

looks as tho a "jesus clip" should go on there. ill look at my 70 tomorrow and see what it has for ya !

just did my 67 and it had a retaining clip on the inside.
