I like to sit up and wait for the little varmits with a Daisy Red Rider BB gun and then take'em out !

Made a nest out of the dryer sheets I used. Snap traps with peanut butter, and glue traps around the car. Might try the pepermint oil.

Snap traps work well too ! and the good thing is you can always use the Iraqi version for the "Big Ones" !

I use the dryer sheets, But I'm not convinced they help alot.
This past spring I dug a softball size nest from under the back seat that they made out from my back seat stuffing.
I put some traps on the floor and try to check them once a week.
I back the car into the storage spot against a wall, so I formed some metal screen door material over a pipe and use that to block the exhaust opening. That way I can start it occasionaly and not have to crawl under the car to unplug the exhaust.
Its still a constant concern.
