Moving + New Job ( in Wisconsin)

Great News KB . . . glad to hear that you've found a new job and new location . . . and working for Cummins

Does that mean they'll have you Cummins and Going ? ? ?

I hear ya Sonny I'd much rather smell horse crap than cow crap. I have shoveled both.

I work in Green Bay, actually DePere, and live about 3 miles from Wisconsin International Raceway. Still fairly new to the car cruise stuff but I did manage to take the car to quite a few car shows last year. They were all 45 minutes from Green bay. Get a hold of me when you are settled and I can hopefully let steer you in the right direction.

Cheers,

Frank

We'll be glad to have you, kb. Cummins Great Lakes is the place, I presume - good for you. I've bought filters there before. Our daughter is graduating from college in DePere in 2 months. We've spent a lot of time up there the past 4 years and have really gotten to know and like the area (we're a little over an hour southwest of DePere). If you're into the outdoors at all, WI is a great place to be.

Welcome to WI!

Not sure what kind of cruises happen up in Green Bay, but May 17th is Automotion in the Dells.

I wanted to give you guys a bit of an update. We have finally (for the most part) settled in. Picked a spot up in Luxemburg. So anybody near by, if you feel like havin a beer stop by. Also if you guys are heading to a local show let me know, I'd probably be interested in meeting you there to check it out. Unfortunately so far I won't be driving the Coronet. Supposedly going to pick it up from the painters the 28th but then still have wiring and some assembly work to do. (not to mention some parts I still need and probably won't be able to afford yet).

So thank you to all of you and I look forward to seeing you at a show/cruise/etc!

Welcome to WI. Hope all goes well with your new job. There is a great Mopar show every year ( mopars in the park) that would be about 6 hrs but as far as mopar it is the best show i have been too. Also have car craft and back to the 50's and 60's all just over the border in MN. It is a haul but they are some good shows. car craft and back to the 50's bring in over 10,000 my registration # for back to the 50 was 11,--- something when i had my 37 plym.

Glad to see you got there & all settled in, good luck on the Coronet project, have fun up in the Great White North at them car-shows, Packers & Badgers Games if you can get tickets...

Congrats on the job. Ya' gotta think snowmobile and boat may be in your future!

Good to see things are coming together for you, kb. Iola is the weekend of July 11th and is quite a show and a huge swap meet. http://iolaoldcarshow.com/

Better bring your long johns and mitties - good luck!

UOTE=kb67mopar;910040151]Well not that most of you guys care about where I am located but for those that are keeping track I will be making a move. Picking up roots here in NW Indiana and moving to the Green Bay area of Wisconsin. Lucked out and have an opportunity to work with Cummins and can't pass it up.

If anybody is looking for housing in the Chicago/NW Indiana area I have a house for sale!

So to all of you guys from Wisconsin especially the Green Bay area, fill me in on where the best cruises, shows etc take place.

Oh I forgot to mention the Coronet is finally in the shop for paint and not just waiting in line![/QUOTE]
