Hi

New here and happy to be here.

I have a 79 magnum that years ago I put a Dana and suspension system from a 71 charger that I had lying around. I now want to put back the 9.25 diff back in the car.

Has anyone ever used the XHD MP leafs which have extra leafs with the rubber isolator suspension? Or is it better to just cut the seat pads from 9.25 and re-weld old style seat pads and use the older system? Which is better?

Thanks

Cut two rolled cold steel filler plugs about 5/8" thick and drill a 1/2" hole in them for the spring pins. Set them on the new spring pins and allow the plug to set into the hole in your spring perches. This eliminates the need for the isolators all together.

Called Firmfirm power steering for a gear box and mentioned issue and he said exactly what RED63440 suggested and as a matter of fact he has the part s to convert to old style in stock. He said that it's common that people are doing that.

Thanks for the help
