Does anyone know if they make an extension harness for the MSD's. I have one (MSD box) that was mounted on the firewall that I'd like to move to another location. I assume the harness would have to have a male plug on one end and a female plug on the other. I googled it and also looked on a couple of websites but didn't find anything.

They definately do have harnesses, and some are male/female. Can't remember if they extend the box location or just connect the distrubuter tho? But which box are you working with? like just a 6-A?

It looks like the do sell some connectors, so maybe you buy a cheap original harness and fab up the one end yourself if you cant find a specific extension??

Perhaps try Bill and Rose Evans....google the name...they make EXCELLENT Mopar wiring harness and could possibly custom make what you need. Either call or e-mail them and explain your circumstance. Just my opinion of course.

MSD 8860 is the distributor to 6AL box harness, 72” long. The others are just wires that can be extended. Large Black and Large Red go to battery and the third one is switched twelve volts.
