So, I've just been enlightened that MSD is now making iridium spark plugs...... Are any of you running them or have had any experience with them?
I figured, they make pretty much the best ignition systems so these plugs must be a good product and will work well with a full MSD ignition system such as I have.
Anyways, I ordered a set for my 440ci small block.

Spout off off if anyone is running them.

I received a set from a rebate when I purchased my RTR dist, have not installed them yet.

I wouldn't say best ignition system, definetly affordable.
one of the best would be ICE ignition supposedly.
they seem about same price as an overpriced NGK plug

The NGK's have worked great in my sportbikes. Especially the old ones, with carbs.

Benno; All you have to do is walk through the pits at any drag or circle track race and check out what ignition systems the majority ( and by majority, I mean almost everyone) are using. Cost has nothing to do with it. If the distributers, cd boxes, retarders, etc. didn't do the job, racers wouldn't use them. I have a LOT of personal experience with MSD products both on race cars and on street cars and recommend them highly. As far as "whoop-de-do" special spark plugs, I've never seen any difference in performance from those hyped as 'better than regular' plugs. The only advantage I think you would get from an iridium or platinum plug is longevity.
