MSD Ready-Run Distributor Question

Ok, so I bought an electronic ignition wire harness (poly A engine) and I changed my distributor after I had the harness. The harness has a plug for an "orange box, or like". This MSD distributor needs no box to run. Just connects to the coil and ground. Do I need to plug anything into the harnness where the (see pic) plug is? The three wires go to red/pos org/neg on coil and ground chasis.

The directions say I can use a box, ie 6AL, but why spend the extra money if I don't need to?

as long as you wire up the msd correct you dont need to worry about the factory ignition hook ups.cut them out of the harness,or zip tie out of the way,your choice.
