Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals 11-23 and 24, 2024

I got my pictures organized and here are Flickr albums.
Set up days:
MCACN Setup Days 11-21 & 11-22-24
Show days:
MCACN Show 11-23 & 24, 2024
Cool, great pics. You obviously were there earlier than I was on Sat. since several of the cars still had their hoods on. Sometimes I'd rather see the cars with the hoods, they look more natural.

Some friends of mine were there on Friday during setup and they said the exhaust fumes were bad.

Fortunately I live nearby and have worked at the show since 2012. I love being behind the scenes and involved in this great event, but also like working there so I can get a lot of chances to photograph cars before they’re all set up with mobs of people getting in my way!
As for the fumes, yeah it gets bad sometimes during setup and when cars are leaving Sunday night, and I can even smell it a bit in my clothes when I get home, but it’s all good!

We all like the smell of race gas in the morning. It's smells like victory.

I can say that RMCHRGR's contact HIGH from the show was the 1964 "High And Mighty" Stocker along with the 1963 Pontiac Tempest wagon with the aluminum front end and trans axle rear end.

There was too much to choose from as far as faves, but I can narrow mine down to three. The Dave Strickler/Bill Jenkins 1964 2% Dodge, The Black 1962 Bel Air Bubble Top aluminum nosed Chevy and the 197? Stage #2 Buick GS 4 speed.
Too much on the menu is a good thing if you ask me.
Next year should be really special.

The red carpet display you see when you first enter the show rotates each year through the big 3. This year was GM with the GTO display which included a large % of the Ram IV Judge convertibles ever made.
Next year will be Mopar. I heard the red carpet Mopar feature will be hemi B body convertibles!
I was also told there will be a spring special 1970 new color display in the vein of the black and white display this year. It would be a group of FM3 pink and FJ6 green cars!
A Chrysler 300 club is trying to get a display of every year 300 in a feature.
So it’ll be a can’t miss year for Mopars! Mark your calendars for next years MCACN-November 22 and 23, 2025.

I wonder if a Ram Air V will appear from the abyss of folklore.
Maybe one of the Thin-Tin gauge '65 Goats?

I'd love to see Unicorn parts such as a magnesium or aluminum K-member from the 2% FX Mopars.

Thanks for all your pictures. Mopars were quite well represented there this year.
And they are every year, Dave.

Thanks for all of the great pictures, guys. I'm planning on going back next year.

I’m just curious, how do you get invited to this event anyway. How does it work. Does someone have to recognize your car at another show? Do you put in an application?
