WooHoo, another one saved. Keep coming with the pics BIGSEXY, I'll be watching.

Had it for 28 yrs. Just a 383 4 speed car but upgraded to 440 w/ air grabber. Original Tor red but going with Tangelo pearl from house of color

Nice car and welcome from SE PA!

I "just" have a 1970 383 4 speed Road Runner too. I cry myself to sleep at night (smile). Only big difference is mine is an original Limelight car and still has it's original drivetrain (and air grabber too), so I am keeping the 383. Can't afford to rebuild it for now, but it has 80,000 miles and, to the best of my knowledge, has never been apart. It runs great so for now I'll keep it.

Keep us posted with pictures of your progress - we'd love so see them!

Looks good. I like that color. What did you put on the floor pans?

Love the coupes!! And seems like you don't see many 1970 model in coupe form....

Very nice! Let's see and hear more. Is that a GTX?
GTX's were high end cars and came as a hardtop only.

I ran a 68 road runner couple in the 80's dressed out in GTX trim and no one ever noticed. If they did, they never said anything lol

Bought this car in 1986 when I was in High school. 440 4 speed w/ 3.91s and a 17 yr old kid.....Somehow managed to not kill myself in it. After a couple motors and a few yrs of it sitting out in the yard. I came up with enough $$ to paint it and build a motor. Raced the car a lil, 440 4 speed w/ 4.88 on a 30 inch slick. Ran a 12.02 @ 111mph. Then the divorce came along and put the project in 500 pcs in order to keep her from taking it...(ex wives tend to do that stuff ) So now yrs later my fiancé and I are restoring it with a few modern upgrades...Look for it in Carlisle in 2016 for sure.....

looking good nice work keep us posted on your progress

Looks like your doing a great job, love the car and the color, keep posting your progress.

I like this Roadrunner....a very cool looking project. Keep up the great work. :headbang:

Nice work, great story, will be looking forward to the finished project. Looks like it had the taxi cab base interior, so did my 70 Lime light, 4-speed and air grabber car.
