Moving forward...
The cowl patch is in and partially finish welded. I have some more welding to do but I need to add a small filler strip for the gap. The rest of it has blended nicely. The patch for the base of the A-pillar has been fitted, but I don't want to put it on until I figure out what to do for seam sealer. I need to buy the drip rails, but until then I'll patch the hole on the hinge post that will be covered by the forward most section of the new rail. I did ditch the rings since the aftermarket A/C's do not pull from there, so those will be patched and smoothed. The lower hinge post and side panel patch are getting close. I still have a little gap and some grinding to do on the side panel repair before I put on the new piece of hinge post. The d/s A-pillar and hinge post will be next up once this area is done.
The upper core support to inner fender joints have the outside patches installed with a little finish grinding to do before the inner patches get installed.
Since I have a good one in hand, I will be replacing the right frame rail to just behind the shock tower. I want to get ALL the cancer out of there. Aside from the small repairs on the inside of the d/s inner fender from battery damage, that will complete the front end. I'm debating doing the XV lower core support and inner fender/shick tower stiffening mods.
On Saturday I'm taking a drive a few hours each way to pick up a set of front fenders and a hood from a member on another certain charger board.
