I've been doing some work to the engine so no real updates, however I did get the graphics for the trunk/tail panel so I finally finished buffing the clear coat and installed the graphics. Thanks Phoenix Graphics.
I just love that screaming bee.
Tail panel is now blacked out. Time for the trunk lid and the rear quarters.
The stripes are finally on. I'll wait to post the entire rear later.
What a beautiful job you're doing on that Bee!
I've owned a couple '68 Bees in past years and it's my bucket list car even today, was so sorry I sold them years ago.
I'd trade my '68 GTX for a nice one right now!
Thanks for posting all this. I enjoyed the heck out of it.
I haven't updated anything in a while now.(sorry) I had some mechanical stuff to sort out, and get the top painted and prepped for the vinyl. Now that all of that is finished I was able to finally drop it off at the trim shop to get the vinyl top installed. I should have it back next week. It's getting really close to being done. Here it is loaded up on the trailer heading to get the top squared away
.
After the top is done it's glass and trim and that should be it.
Here are a few photos of the super bee all shined up. I've been driving it around the neighborhood and so far so good. All I've got left is a few touchups and under hood decals that I'm still waiting on. I'm very pleased how this thing has turned out.
