My 69'

Haha nice... and Thanks! I just hope it doesn't take that long again to save up for an engine lol

I bought by '69 Bee in 1985 (with help from father). I still have it. Can't see parting with it.

I bet, i don't plan on selling this ether. I've had a few people ask if it was for sale... I guess i could part with it for the right price but it's not worth that much lol

I've had my Charger since just before high school graduation (25 years ago.) It wasn't my first car, but it was the car it took my driver's test in. First car was a 72 Gran Torino that I paid $200 for in 1982. Kept nagging my parents about the Charger, which was just sitting and not being driven. I finally got my dad to agree to give it to me if something happened to my Ford, and if whatever happened wasn't my fault. Wouldn't you know it, all the other drivers on the road got the memo and stayed away from my beater Ford like it was made of plutonium! I had to wait until 1985, when my dad finally handed me a list of maintenance items the Charger needed before I could drive it. Kept me off the streets for a couple of weeks, but I got them done faster than he expected.

Congratulations on getting your car and I hope you get to hang on to it the same way I've held onto mine.

Hey 69 Clone, nice car! You look like a former EMO kid, haha, I know, my daughter went thru that stage too. She's a MOPAR freak like you, but, she wanted the Challenger, not an old POS that guys like me work on...no no, she had to have the NEW one, haha. 09 SE with all the goodies added on! Oh yeah, you sort of look like her boy friend, hahaha!

Thanks guys
Nah I wouldn't call myself emo Lol i just skate and surf. Yeah seems like the younger guys that are into American cars my age rather have the "new muscle car" but i'd take anything older then '73 before i'd buy any new muscle car...imo they're not comparable anyone can buy a new car.
