Let the story begin.
I believe the car came to Aust via a US Military person stationed at Pine Creek in Darwin, when that was I have no idea.
When I purchased the car this is how it looked

I made decision to have the car chemically stripped of all paint, body deadener and rust,as you will
you will see the results, this I would strongly recommend to any one doing a full resto.

As you can see ,you would swear it just came of the assembly line

Now the problems begin, this car was converted to RH drive:angry1: how do you fix the problem, easily, cut out the firewall and have a bulk head sent from the states with a
K member ( approx 6" was cut of the tail end of the frame), steering box, dashboard, steering column and other associated parts

Last two pics are of a pre-fit,one thing I did learn is that when you assemble the 383 and 727 tranny with a deep sump they wont fit ,tranny in first then couple up the 383.
As this was real headbanger in the beginning I would not have been able to accomplish this project without the help of a certain young lady by the name of Vanessa at WILDCAT WRECKING in Sandy Oregon ,she is Paramount.

I am currently waiting on parts from the States to compete the per-fit,then its paint time and the power plant.
