The last time I tried starting the Bee it was fine, now it won't turn over. When power is on all dash instruments respond, hit it to start and nothing, tried replacing the starter relay, samething, checked wires under dash all ok, one thing I noticed was the ceramic resistor was warm not hot but warm enough it gets your attention. It will start and run fine with the screw driver trick. Has the Ignition switch gone bad or what? It is a 4speed car and I do have the clutch lockout switch locked out [wired shut] One wire to the relay is all it affects. Anyone any ieas please Help.

Put a test light on the Small power wire on the starter solenoid and have some one hit the key to rule out the ignition switch, if the test light fails to light up its probably the switch. If it lights up replace the starter or rebuild the starter solenoid.
If you have the neutral safety switch bypassed make sure the car is not in gear when your under there and some ones laying on that key.
Some times the fusible linked wire coming off of the starter relay craps out (the top bolt smaller wire).I've had 2 that corroded really bad on the inside and you couldn't tell any thing was wrong until you looked it over really well.

If I had to guess I'd put my money on the solenoid.

make sure that your shift selector is firmy in park or neutral... off in either position, even slightly, will cause your neutral safety switch to not allow the engine to crank over.

Its a 4-speed car. No Park. I know nothing about 4 speeds but it kind of sounds like the safety switch. If it is the ignition switch then I got a new ignition switch from Autozone. I think it was like $20.

Sorry for the delay getting back here, life gets in the way sometimes. Anyhow just seeing the suggestions here, I do have the car running now via a pushbutton starter switch hooked to the new relay on the fender. 4 wires, green [clutch lockout] yellow [ignition] I think, anyone know, black [starter solenoid] the other is the 12 volt power source. The Yellow wire is the only one i'm not sure of it goes through the fuse box, while the green wire follows it's own path, like an after thought by Dodge it goes through the firewall to the clutch switch. This is where I tied in my pushbutton switch, 12 volt power source and starter relay, it works fine, how difficult is it to remove the ignition switch?
