Had a Yamaha 500 single in the mid 80's. I think it was a 79....now that thing took me some lernin to start it LOLNice old Honda. I was into Yamaha's except for this one. Except for the Lucas electrics and kick starting , I wouldn't mind having this one back.

Love all of them. I was a Honda guy. I started on the street with an XL-175Mine first bike was a '77 Suzuki GS550. I then graduated to a '78 GS750

Unfortunately, my bike days ended when a woman who was parked on the side of the road decided to pull out and bang a U-turn in front of me leaving me nowhere to go but straight into her.

Remember the Midnight Special? single thumper street bike I always wanted one, but I did restore a XT500 same engine. Same thing on starting you had to be all in when you kick it. We had a 100, chrome tank lol , darn things ran pretty goodYes. Once I got it together it was a blast! I loved the look of the gas tank
