Made my very first purchase today of a Roadrunner emblem that I obtained from a non ebay seller...last week I shut down my ebay and PayPal accounts...I got very upset with them both concerning a merchant that stole $88.00 from me...no help at all from either ebay or PayPal,so after 10 years and over $40,000.00 worth of buying from ebay and paying thru PayPal I said no more!!! I know how convenient it is to use their services but when enough becomes enough for me anyway, I'll find alternate merchants and payment options...today for example...the emblem I bought was the same price as 3 of the ebay merchants but this company had free shipping...wrote a check and am pleased with this transaction...Marla :icon_pray:

What was the name of the company that stiffed you ?? & what was the name of the company that you had a good experience with ??, It may end up helping somebody else in the future, not to get stiffed, or even be able to get a good product with a good copmany !!...

:angryfire: Atlas Obsolete Chrysler Parts was the company that I bought a Beep Beep horn from...after waiting 45 days it finally showed up...I found out that they ordered it from another company and that really made me angry because I was not aware that was the case,if I knew that I would never had bought it...paid a total of $101.00 for it and had Fed Ex return it after I refused to accept...so okay I will pay the $13.00 shipping but do expect a $88.00 refund which they have ignored for a total of 67 days...I have emailed them 12 times, but to no avail...there are a lot of great merchants on ebay and I will miss doing business with them but I will not be ripped off without some recourse...AAemblems is where I shopped today. Marla

I've also had problems with Atlas Obsolete and had a thread about them a year or so ago. Very bad company to do business with and they'll lie to you.
After lodging complaints through E-Bay and waiting for weeks on end they finally sent me a glove box which is what I was trying to get from them. After getting it, it was the wrong one and it's still on my shelve.

So fair warning to everyone do not do business with them. :director:

suxx that ya had to go thru that with ebay. personally i live on ebay and get all of my parts for my road runner there. so far i have not had any issues, but thats not to say that i wont. my problem with ebay is the fees and the hidden paypal fees. theyre just getting out of hand!

Sorry to hear of the problems you had Marla, Good to know the good ones from the others, Ive bought a few things from Ebay and so far the only problem was a coil that took 4 months to get, and right now just ordered a part from a guy called azbob*1... He seems to have a good report so im hoping hes one of the good ones. My list of things bought is getting longer and this site and its members have been the best ive dealed with, everything ive gotten hear.

I've also boughten a fair amount on e-bay with no problems so far, hopefully this continues. I am getting fed up with all the hidden fees when you are the seller though. And then they force you to be paid with paypal so you can pay them more. Thanks for the heads up about Atlas - I will stay away from them.

I too buy and sell on ebay. I'm very proud of 225+ feedbacks @ 100%!

Whenever possible, I try to find my parts here on the forum first. I've had several dealings with other members and coud not be more pleased with the transactions.

Good luck Marla, and if you have the time and patience....check the for sale threads or post a wanted thread....you might find what you need and it's always nice to know that your $$ is going to a fellow mopar friend rather than some big conglomerate.
