My new 67 belvedere project

HI GUYS MY NAME IS DAN AND I TRADED MY 74 DUSTER ABOUT A MONTH AGO FOR THIS SWEET PROJECT BELVEDERE SHE ONLY A 318 727 CAR BUT I ALWAYS WANTED ONE OF THESE EARLY B BODIES... BUT IM OUT OF WORK AT THE MOMENT SO I DONT HAVE ALOT TO SPEND ON HER RIGHT NOW SO IM DOIN THIS AS CHEAP AS POSSIBLE SO I JUST WANTED TO SHARE MY CHEAP SOON TO BE DAILY DRIVER ...

As you can tell im going black with her the kid that owned her before me was gonna go plum crazy but never finished it now dont get me wrong i love plum crazy but not on pre 1970 cars soooo black it is ....

Black is a great color if the body is extremely straight, I love black car my self & I say the purple under the hood, I would agree the Plum Crazy belong on the era correct cars only, just my 2 cents..

Luckly for me the car is pretty straight thats why i chose black. And at this point anythings an aprovement

Dan, very nice project. Do you know any of the history of the car? Just curious about the "43" on the doors. Someone's idea of a tribute, or did you fall into something special?

Nice! a/c car, too. I agree about the colors. I cringe when I see HIP colors on 66/67s. They look just as good (better IMO) in era correct colors, and you still have red, almost B5, Bronze and several more. HIP can work on 72-74, though if done right. Iteresting that Plum on a 70 Charger looks fine, but silly on a 69, even though they're nearly the same.

THANKS GUYS ME AND MY SON HAVE BEEN HAVING FUN WITH HER HE'S ONLY 14 AND ITS HIS FIRST TIME HELPING OL DAD PULL A MOTOR GUT THE INTERIOR AND SPEND ALOT OF HIS FREE TIME OUT IN THE GARAGE SO YEAH THIS CAR IS GONNA BE SPECIAL TO US BOTH AS FOR THE 43 ON THE DOOR WELL THE KID THAT OWNED IT BEFORE ME WAS GOING FOR THE RAT ROD RACE CAR LOOK . WELL YESTERDAY WE GUTTED THE INTERIOR AND TODAY I MADE A GAUGE POD OUT OF THE HOLE THE OLD A/C VENTS WERE AND THAN I PAINTED OVER THE GOD AWFULL PURPLE LIKE I SAID I LOVE PLUM CRAZY JUST NOT ON THIS CAR ...PUT IT ON A CUDA ,CHALLENGER ,OR DUSTER AND OHHH YEAH....ANY WAYS HERE'S A FEW PICS OF WHAT WE DID THE LAST FEW DAYS ....OH AND BTW I WILL NOT BE REINSTALLING THE A/C SO I HAVE A FEW PARTS IM LOOKING TO SELL OR TRADE FOR A BLACK CARPET KIT FOR MY CAR SO IF ANY ONE NEEDS ANY OF THESE PARTS (SEE PIC) LET ME KNOW IM ONLY LOOKING TO GET ENOUGH OR A CARPET KIT THANKS AGAIN GUYS.
