My New 68 Charger!

Great Buy, it actually looks way better in the video then the pics. you really cant see how straight a car is until you see the glares moving over the surface, when those clears are rock stead images of your surroundings and not the glares youd see in a pond with a light breeze you know youve got good work done. sounds good, not quite that big block rumble, but those 360s rev up quick huh, makes for a fun toy for sure. lets see some more pics, open that hood up, interiors? you pulled it off a 4 post, in the vid, pull it back on there and lets see underneath. maybe car guys are a little pervy, we all gotta see under the skirt if you know what i mean.

Here are some interior and under skirt pics you perv!

Welcome to FBBO. Looks like a very nice Charger you picked out.

Congrats! Nice looking '68!!

Hello Dallas neighbor!

Changing over to a 4 speed is doable but if going back the factory way. Well, you will need more than just pedals. In addition to a previous post you will need the bracket for the pedal assembly through the firewall as well. Give a looks on Brewers transmissions website.

Not a bad looking 68 overall but they surely enjoyed black paint on the underside.......

Gotta what out for Dick Head AKA Richard Cranium comments! I love that guy!
Plus he lives in my old home state!
LOL

Not a bad suggestion... We'll see. I've learned from modding my other cars that the sooner you do what you ultimately want to do to the car the more "pleasure ROI" you get from the mods. Otherwise when you change it and 1 year in that is 1 less year of benefiting from your mods!

Anyhow, here is a video clip.

VERY nice ride !!!!! Love the outdoor lift also. Gives me ideas.

As for converting to a 4-speed, YES!!!!!! DO IT !!!!I owned my 70 RR for 5 years before pulling the trigger and converting to a 4 speed. For years, I wavered between selling it and buying a factory 4 speed or converting. I loved everything about my car though, it was in great condition and I was into it for relatively very little. The only thing missing was the 4 speed. I spent about a year searching for parts to make it factory correct. To me that was half the fun and a learning experience. I was originally going to tackle it myself but was limited by zero welding skills ( for the 4 speed hump and also the ball stud bracket to the frame for the torque-rod (z-bar) and also I don't have a lift so would have to do it in my driveway on my back. Decided against it and had Jamie Passon do it for me. I also bought a rebuilt, date correct 833 from him, trading in the 833 I was going to rebuild and use. He did an awesome job and knows his stuff.

As a 4 speed, my RR is now like a different car and so much more enjoyable to drive.
It was definitely worth the investment. If you want some more info, PM me. Also like one of the members said, Brewers is a great resource for parts and part numbers. Also check out Passon Performance. Good luck with the ride !!!!!!

:welcome:
You won't stand out driving that or anything. (Sarcasm)
