I get the "power to weight" ratio thing, and I think there are quite a few very nice looking A-Body models,
very nice, especially when tubbed and tires so fat and wide you can barely see the axle tubes...
BUT
There are many more nicer looking B-Body models, and they look even better tubbed with fat, wide tires, I'd even call wide tires on a B-Body mandatory, especially on 71-74 Charger/Satellite models, and I will admit that "appearance" is strictly a matter of personal preference.
SO
I will get to the more important factor, something that in retrospect I am really glad that happened, and it has to do with physics, math, and geometry. Cold, hard facts that are the opposite of "personal preference" about appearance.
The size of my 6'3" 270# body (should be 210-225#) and my aches and pains.
I drove a 440 Duster when I was looking to buy a classic Mopar muscle car, and it was "regular red" (I can never remember the color name or code, but it has NO orange in it) and black and awesome. The problem was the shoulder strap grabbed me around the neck and the car was just too small for me.
I have my 70 Roadrunner and I'm happy to have fun with the Roadrunner themed stuff I can do at shows, and ONLY Roadrunners have the crowds of people at cruise events say "blow the horn" as much as "spin the tires".
Side rant over.
Enjoy the car. The paint I see under the hood is beautiful, and the big block looks healthy!
