I see my old man's "pwdave" post on here and he had said the engine was a 509 cubic inch stroker.
I know it has eddy heads and a 440 source kit in it but I'm curious. What is the bore and stroke of this thing? Sorry if I sound ignorant.

Or maybe you should ask him?

Sorry for your loss!

In the very upper right hand corner of the screen, you can see a "SEARCH" box, click on that and enter "pwdave" in the "by member" box and hit the GO button. It will bring up all posts by pwdave and you might be able to find the info you're looking for.

Figured it out. Ty to everyone for answering.

I'm pretty sure it's a 4.30 stroke by 4.340 bore. Comes out to 508.9......

400 block ? (4.340 std) 0.30" over = 4.370" bore
or a 440 ? (4.320 std) with 0.050" over = 4.370" bore
& a 4.250" stroke is 509.9 cid

both very common bores & stroke

I believe it's a 440 . But I wouldn't call a 50 over piston common. Neither is a 4.300 crank though
