My short review of Guardians of the Galaxy 3

First of all, it's 2 1/2 hours long so be ready for that. I thought the first third was kind of slow. It deals with Rocket's back story. which involves a lot of animal cruelty. I know that was meant to make you hate the bad guy but I still didn't like it. Things definitely pick up in the last third and it has a good ending. I was expecting more wokeness since it was a Marvel movie but nothing stood out. The bad guy is a black guy which I thought was unusual in this day and age. Probably worth it to see on the big screen since it is a space-themed movie. There are 2 post-credit scenes so don't leave early.

I give it 3 1/2 stars out of 5.

For comparison I gave The Covenant 4 stars.

I was bored during the first one. Talking computer generated animals do nothing for me.

I’m done with Star Wars too.
