Its gonna be a race to the finish. I've been building this car for over 5 years. I bought the car 15 plus years ago, raced it, blew it up and parked it waiting for it's next life. I got this crazy idea to build what you see here. Candy greens, lace, bright bright bright silver, lots of metal flake, big hp Indy Hemi, modern suspension up front, dana 60 out back, It's been a long ordeal, in hindsight I probably overdid it, but man she turned out pretty. With some luck it'll be at Mopars in the Park next month, 3 little weeks away. With some luck she'll drive into the show........

That's sweet! Be looking for it at Mopars in the Park!

This was my car in its previous form. Mostly original big block car came from northern Colorado. Was 383 2 barrel, I raced a nitrous'd 440. Ran pretty strong. Douglas Wyoming I think. summer 2003, nitrous was down this day if memory serves me. Ran pretty good for all motor at 5000 feet.

After realizing I couldn't bring myself to drill my new paint to mount the Hemi door emblems (somehow the body shop didn't get the holes for the emblems drilled, it was a long build and we missed them all together) , I found a sign shop that made these really nice brushed aluminum "emblems". They look pretty good.

Beautiful Machine! I don't like drilling holes either! Double-faced tape is the way to go. The Hemi emblems are Nice!

The stock emblems are heavy enough I was concerned about only using tape, on top of that they aren't "square" anywhere on the back, so I would of had to use a filler to bring the back of the emblem to the door skin. Adding more weight to the adhesive, I was very relieved when I found this answer. They have the look of the stock emblem, if ya don't look close most folks wont notice they are "stickers". The shop had a vinyl with a brushed aluminum finish exactly like the emblems do. Very happy they worked out so well , definitely gives the original look. More to come

I can see mid nines in your future!! That sticker looks like an emblem from my house! I dig the paint!!!!!!

Me thinks the funny car in your avatar MAY have influenced your decision.
