Just curious here. I know some people name their cars but something got me to thinking. How do you tell if your car is a male or female?

mine is pretty easy she's "The B_I_T_C_H", named by Honey, she use to say because I spend too much time under her...LOL... not so much any more

Lift it's tail..
LOL...
I think they're female for some reason.. not sure but that seems to be the general rule..
I just call it the Roadrunner and my kid calls the Camaro the Thunder beast

I usually just remember mine by the year model. 50,67,69,95,05.

girl cars are bitchy and picky girls give you warnings that they are not happy
guy cars dont give a care you can put what ever brand gas or oil in him and it don't care and guy cars push push then just break where ever they are

They call me the “Wanderer" ...... I’m always looking for that "Runaround Sue".......

I never named my cars but my wife calls the GTX the "noisy car" and her 73 Mustang convertible the "windy car".

I've always given girl names to my cars and guy names to my trucks. My Coronet is "Cora" my Truck "Ol Red"

Thomas

My 23 Altered was named the "Wild Thang", well just because she really was... they sometimes would play this song... www.youtube.com/watch?v=rc9LkE0vpvk , I had my hot girlfriend at the time & all hers 2 also very hot sisters all in bikini's or hot pants & tube tops, standing around the starting line, when I was match racing, coming up to the line or before we fired them up...

That wouldn't have distracted the guy in the other lane would it? Nah, I'm sure not even more than a tenth or two.

My car is named "Mariana". I named her after the Mariana Trench - about as far underwater as you can get. I was going to call her "Sgr A*" after the black hole at the center of the galaxy - but that's too hard to pronounce.

I think guys give their old cars girl's names because the take all you money and can be very frustrating.

Sonny named them after old girlfriends!.....Sally's on the left
:icon_winkle:Cookie on the right.

never named them. took the same philosophy as naming farm animals. don't do it. when "greg" the turkey is on the table it's a little rough for the kids to thoroughly enjoy the thanksgiving meal or when the leg of lamb comes from "karen sue" it's a little less enjoyable for the younger set.

The car is the '64. Yes it's just a number. The Challenger, is just "the Challenger".... Maybe that's a little sociopathic; or maybe not.... just sayin'

"The R/T" Until two other R/T's came along.

......I call the 67 Coronet, The Beast. The 69 Bee, well......The Beast also. names sort of fits a multiple of years and models. Go Mopar.....

my daughter calls it THE EVIL SCOWL cause she says it looks mean. and we got that on the plates EVL SCWL. gosh i love my girl...and my evil scowl. had to make that clear...lol
